The United States Sports Academy proudly announces Morgan Cinello as the inaugural Head Softball Coach for the 2024-2025 season. Cinello joins the Eagles after serving as an assistant coach at Gulf Shores High School since 2021, where she made significant contributions to the development of young athletes.

Before her tenure at Gulf Shores, Cinello built an impressive coaching resume at the University of Alabama, where she worked in two roles: as a graduate assistant and later as an assistant coach. During her time with the Crimson Tide, the program achieved an outstanding record of 188-55, earning the titles of SEC Regular Season Champions in 2019 and SEC Tournament Champions in 2021. The team garnered three regional appearances, three super regional appearances, and two Women's College World Series, where they finished third both times.

In 2020, Cinello expanded her coaching expertise as the pitching coach at Wichita State University, further enhancing her skills in player development and strategic game management.

As a player, Morgan Cinello began her collegiate career at The United States Military Academy, where she made history by being named Rookie of the Year and Pitcher of the Year, the first athlete to achieve this dual honor in Patriot League history. Under her leadership, the West Point team clinched the Patriot League Conference Championship in 2013. She then transferred to Hofstra University, where she continued her success, contributing to the team’s rich history of winning. The Pride earned the Colonial Athletic Association Conference Championship in 2015.

Cinello holds a bachelor's degree in Finance from Hofstra University and a Master's in Sports Business Management from the University of Alabama. She currently resides in Gulf Shores, Alabama, with her husband Anthony, their son Beau, and their dog Fenway. In her free time, Morgan enjoys spending time with family, relaxing on the beach, and watching sports.
